For an excellent cause
SpiceJet and famous Indian chef Vikas Khanna have come together to supply limited-edition meal selections to the carrier’s passengers for a noble cause. While SpiceJet wants to offer travelers a novel dining experience on its flights, one more reason for this collaboration is to assist an NGO dedicated to improving the lives of young girls.

SpiceJet has announced that an element of the proceeds collected from the sale of this stuff will go to Mijwan Welfare Society, an NGO that works in India towards empowering girls by educating them and enabling them to face on their very own feet. Debojo Maharshi, SpiceJet’s Chief Business Officer, commented,
What’s on offer?
In keeping with the airline’s website, the limited-edition menu offers a selection of 4 dishes – two rice-based and two wraps. Vegetarian options among the many 4 dishes include a Vegetable Biryani and a Paneer Bhurji Roll (a wrap created from cottage cheese).
Meat eaters have the choice to select from Chicken Aloo Bukhara Biryani and a Chicken Khurchan Roll. The dishes have been curated by Vikas Khanna himself and can be found on pre-booking. Khanna (who has award-winning restaurants in Recent York and Dubai) commented,
Special livery
To rejoice the collaboration, SpiceJet also launched a special livery on one among its Boeing 737 MAX aircraft at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM). The aircraft featured the dishes curated by Khanna in addition to the image of the film based on his book “Imaginary Rain.”
This isn’t the primary time that SpiceJet has painted its plane in a special livery. The airline often collaborates with famous personalities for the promotion of their work and even to mark significant achievements or milestones basically. It once featured the image of Indian actor Sonu Sood who was praised for his efforts in helping people out throughout the height of the COVID pandemic in India.
