It feels as if hardly a month goes by without Nobu adding one other hotel or restaurant to its burgeoning collection. Now, the luxurious brand has unveiled a brand new boutique hotel and restaurant in the guts of Seville – its sixth property in Spain, joining outposts in Ibiza, Barcelona, and Marbella.
Perhaps Robert De Niro can’t get enough of the Spanish sun, or perhaps the killer location within the Andalusian capital was just too tempting to withstand. Regardless of the case, Nobu Sevilla is a robust contender in your next city break.
Situated in the colourful Plaza San Francisco, a historic square within the Casco Antiguo, the brand new hotel is the right base from which to explore the town. The property is about across two early Twentieth-century residential buildings which have been meticulously restored to their former glory.
Nobu Sevilla features just 25 rooms giving it an intimate feel. Every effort has been taken to lovingly preserve the present architecture; the hotel is centered around a reasonably glass courtyard and marble staircase adorned with colourful tiles.
Rooms are divided into categories starting from deluxe right as much as the 1,152-sq-ft Nobu Suite which boasts a separate lounge and balcony overlooking the tiled roofs of the square. As you’d expect from a Nobu property, the interiors are laid-back and minimalist: think walnut wood floors, crisp white linens and easy furnishings.
In fact, one in all the principal draws at Nobu Sevilla is the signature restaurant where you may enjoy Nobu Matsuhisa’s classic dishes including black cod miso, yellowtail sashimi and the best Japanese wagyu beef. There’s also a classy rooftop garden bar, sunny terrace with a pool, and a 24-hour gym.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with MHRE on our third hotel and restaurant, following the announcements of San Sebastian and Madrid, and to be opening our sixth Spanish hotel for the brand,” said CEO of Nobu Hospitality, Trevor Horwell.
“Seville is a captivating, historic city that has emerged as a must-visit destination for lots of our Nobu guests and we’re confident that the Nobu brand can be embraced by local residents and international travelers alike.”
