After the Gulfstream G700 private jet received type certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) the aircraft manufacturer is celebrating more welcome news.
Gulfstream announced on April 8, 2024, that the FAA has moreover granted recent production and interior supplemental type certifications.
The G700 cabin supplemental type certifications officially approve the inside outfitting of the aircraft and its cabin air purification system while the FAA production certification (PC) confirms that Gulfstream’s production processes for the jet are compliant with federal aviation regulations.

To grant production certification the FAA accomplished an in depth audit of Gulfstream’s engineering, supplier, manufacturing and quality systems to make sure the aircraft might be produced in accordance with the FAA-approved design.

Gulfstream announced on March 29, 2024, that the brand new G700 jet had obtained its type certification from the FAA.

Designed to hold as much as 19 passengers, the G700 has a top speed of Mach 0.935 and a variety of as much as 7,750 nautical miles (14,353 km) when cruising at Mach 0.85.
It is known that Gulfstream has greater than 30 G700s already built with deliveries able to go.
