LATAM’s newest route
This week, LATAM Airlines Group further advanced the Joint Enterprise Agreement with Delta Air Lines by inaugurating its sixth destination in america, Atlanta Hartfield Jackson International Airport (ATL). LATAM also flies to Los Angeles, Boston, Recent York, Miami, and Orlando.

The South American firm inaugurated its latest Lima-Atlanta route with three weekly flights. In line with Manuel van Oordt, CEO of LATAM Airlines Peru,
“…this inauguration allows us to expand the range of destinations. Due to the partnership with Delta, we’re offering greater connectivity and advantages, comparable to the combined accumulation of points in each firms’ loyalty programs and access to over 50 Delta Sky Club lounges in america and five LATAM lounges in South America.”
Arajet’s latest flights
The Santo Domingo-based company Arajet began operating one among the longest Boeing 737 MAX routes on this planet, connecting the Dominican Republic to Santiago de Chile International Airport (SCL). A couple of days ago, the corporate also launched its flights to Toronto International (YYZ) in Canada.
This route has a distance of three,564 miles (5,736 kilometers), and it’s presently Arajet’s longest service. Nonetheless, it would soon get replaced when the corporate begins flying to Buenos Aires (3,734 miles or 6,010 kilometers).
ITA Airways connecting Europe and South America
On October 30, ITA Airways launched its nonstop service connecting Rome Fiumicino International Airport (FCO) with Rio de Janeiro Galeão Airport (GIG). The inaugural flight, AZ673, departed at 15:45 from Rio de Janeiro and was operated with the corporate’s Airbus A330neo fleet.
With the launch of the brand new nonstop flight, ITA Airways will operate 14 weekly flights between Rio de Janeiro and Rome, which can add to the 28 weekly flights already connecting São Paulo to the Italian capital. This can bring the entire weekly flights between Brazil and Italy to 42. ITA Airways has 56 weekly flights to South America, including the 14 weekly flights to Buenos Aires.
From Rio de Janeiro, ITA Airways passengers can fly to the fundamental destinations in Brazil, Chile, and South America because of SPA agreements with LATAM and GOL.

avianca’s two latest routes
The Colombian carrier avianca launched this week two latest regional routes connecting Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport (BOG) with Cuzco International (CUZ) in Peru and Palmerola International (XPL) in Honduras.
The flight to Cuzco has 4 weekly frequencies on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while the service to Palmerola has three weekly flights (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).
Each routes are operated onboard avianca’s Airbus A320 fleet with a capability for 180 passengers. David Alemán, Sales Director of avianca South America and Colombia, said,

Many more routes shall be launched in future dates. Arajet is about to start flying to Buenos Aires in the approaching days. LATAM will start operating flights from Lima to London Heathrow (LHR) on December 1.
