The DroneSentry-X supports passive detection, identification, and tracking of multiple unmanned or uncrewed systems. The brand new system integrates DroneShield’s advanced multi-mission AI/ML technology, RFAI, for passive, non-intrusive detection with its latest electronic countermeasure technology, RFAI-ATK, which provides operators with the flexibility to detect, discover, track, and defeat unmanned threats from a single integrated system.
After an in depth development process including input from multiple clients and extensive end-user feedback, the system includes an on-board RFAI user interface for local and tactical applications, while still supporting Modular Open Systems Approach best practices for interoperability with other sensors, effectors, and command and control packages. DroneSentry-X uses a web-based UI interface designed to point out real-time analytics of detected drone activity, and can also be compatible with DroneShield’s DroneLocater technology, that may provide data on drone and controller coordinates, altitude and velocity.
DroneShield’s latest product release comes after a brand new $33-million deal was announced with an unspecified U.S. Government department, in addition to a $9.9-million order from an unspecified 5 Eyes client, showing the increasing value of effective counter-UAV solutions to authorities worldwide. DroneSentry-X makes its debut this week on the Association of the US Army Annual Meeting and Exposition (AUSA 2023) in Washington, DC. Initial deliveries under received orders will begin this month.
