The primary recent route will start on April 28, 2024, connecting Vancouver and Detroit, operating every day and just for the summer. All routes might be operated by the Boeing 737 family, namely the 737-800 or 737 MAX. Nonetheless, WestJet won’t have an excessive amount of competition either. It’ll go head-to-head with Air Canada from Edmonton to San Francisco, while it’ll be the just one to attach Atlanta and Nashville (for now). The identical is true for SFO-DTW, with the private airline the one selection for those on the lookout for the fastest service.
Partnering up with Delta
You will have noticed that Atlanta and Detroit are each massive Delta hubs, WestJet’s long-term codeshare partner. Travelers can access 70 more destinations out of DTW, including Recent York, DC, and lots of others. In an announcement, John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and CCO said,
