The Mexican ultra-low-cost carrier Volaris has announced the launch of 40 recent domestic routes. These recent services are primarily point-to-point, increasing regional connectivity across the country. The States of Guanajuato, Baja California, and Sinaloa will receive the biggest number of recent routes, with 12, ten, and nine, respectively.
Increasing the connectivity
Volaris is seeking to increase its market share within the North American country. Fueled by a fleet composed of over 120 Airbus A320-family-based aircraft, Volaris announced throughout the weekend the launch of 40 recent routes connecting markets with leisure destinations. In an announcement, the airline said that 33 of those routes will probably be exclusive, with zero competition from some other company.
Holger Blankenstein, executive vp of Volaris, said that resulting from a growing interest in knowing Mexico higher, and the post-COVID recent tourism trends, the corporate has seen the opening of recent touristic and industrial segments able to be served.
