Barely every week goes by without Vietjet announcing something recent, be it recent aircraft, hot recent deals or routes expansion. This week it managed to get two of those into the news, combining more flights from Vietnam to Indonesia’s island of Bali and a Fly Now Pay Later scheme, not forgetting more probabilities to book $0 tickets.
More flights to Bali
Currently, Vietjet is flying thrice day by day between Ho Chi Minh City and Bali, with a day by day flight from Hanoi Noi Bail International Airport (HAN) to Bali. The airline said that with demand running hot it’s increasing the services from August twelfth, adding an additional flight from each Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Bali.

The present flights from Ho Chi Minh City International (SGN) to Bali Denpasar (DPS) depart at 07:55, 08:15 and 11:50 and arrive in Bali at 12:55, 13:05 and 16:40. The brand new fourth service will depart SGN at 07:05 and land at DPS at 11:55. Vietjet uses a mixture of Airbus A321 and A321neo aircraft on the route with a median flight time of three:30 hours.

Customers must go to the Vietjet website and book a flight normally, but on the payment step, they shall be given the choice to Fly Now – Pay Later (FNPL). If that is what they need to do, the client will need to finish the applying with some basic personal information, and if approved, the ticket shall be emailed to them.
Customers can use the FNPL plan for as much as 100% of the ticket value, to a limit of VND15 million ($634), and spread payments across as much as 12 months. The ticket will include Vietjet’s free Sky Care travel insurance, and if booked before August fifteenth, customers may even receive a voucher for VND100,000 ($4.25) to be used on a future booking.
