Vietnamese low-cost airline Vietjet is continuous to grow its fleet and route network, recently taking delivery of a brand recent Airbus A321neo on Friday. The addition of the fuel-efficient plane pushes the carrier’s fleet to over 100 modern aircraft.
Corresponding with the delivery, Vietjet celebrated the launch of recent service from Vietnam’s capital to Hong Kong, marking a milestone in its international operations. The airline said the brand new flights will increase its flight network between Vietnam and Hong Kong.

The brand new A321neo arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on Friday and has been deployed into service on several domestic routes and international destinations resembling Australia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan, in keeping with Vietjet. Vietjet commented on receiving the brand new aircraft in a press release.

High-density seating
The aircraft, designated as an A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex), is designed with a high-density seating configuration, accommodating 240 passengers. In 2019, Vietjet became the primary airline on this planet to operate the specifically-designed cabin format.
With an increased capability in comparison with the usual A321neo cabin layout, the carrier says the plane offers a discount of fuel consumption by as much as 20%. The quieter engines end in noise pollution being reduced by greater than 70% and environmental emissions decreased by as much as 50%. It’s the airline’s 102nd plane in its fleet.

Expanding internationally
Vietjet commenced a brand new route connecting Hanoi to Hong Kong earlier this month. Together with the brand new shiny A321neo, the airline celebrated the brand new service.
