The Chicago, Illinois-based airline has continued its expansion from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). United Airlines has announced it can relaunch its service to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The service is ready to start in March of next 12 months and might be operated as a seasonal route focused on attracting spring breakers. The airline will even relaunch its service from Cleveland to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).
Las Vegas service
The United Airlines operation to Las Vegas might be flown five times per week starting on March 7. This five-time weekly service will proceed through the remaining of March. Nevertheless, starting in April, this service will drop to 4 flights per week. The airline also revealed it’s planning to relaunch its seasonal service to Phoenix along with the service to Las Vegas. This service will run every day from March seventh to the top of the month. Then, the operation will proceed 4 times per week in April. United Airlines will even stop operations on the route on May 20. This service will even be operated with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, just like the Las Vegas service.
The Phoenix service is scheduled to depart Cleveland at 20:20 local time and arrive in Phoenix at around 23:00 local time. The return flight will depart Phoenix just before midnight and arrive in Cleveland around 6:00 local time.

These two services might be the twelfth and thirteenth direct destinations from Cleveland which can be operated by United Airlines. The airline has also previously operated the route connecting Cleveland and Phoenix. The airline ceased this operation in 2014. It brought back the service for a brief time period, from late 2021 to early 2022, before halting operations again.
These routes are somewhat popular at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Frontier Airlines operates direct flights between Cleveland and Phoenix already. Moreover, each Frontier Airlines and Spirit Airlines operate nonstop services from Cleveland to Las Vegas.
