On Thursday, February 29, TAP Air Portugal announced it had plans to schedule ten more weekly flights connecting Lisbon to numerous airports in North America. These recent routes and route frequencies are set to start this upcoming summer, with TAP set to operate over 75 weekly routes between Portugal and america. That is five more in comparison with last summer. The airline may also offer 20 weekly flights between Portugal and Canada, five greater than last summer.

TAP already offers ten weekly flights between Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Humberto Delgado International Airport (LIS) in Lisbon, Portugal. Nevertheless, the airline will increase this frequency to 2 flights per day. The primary flight, TP-0231, departs Lisbon at 15:05 local time and arrives in DC at 18:25. The second flight, TP-0233, departs Lisbon at 17:25 local time and arrives in Portugal at 20:45.
The return flights from Washington DC to Lisbon operate under TP-0232 and TP-0234. TP-0232 will depart Washington DC at 17:35 local time and arrive in Lisbon the following day at 06:05.
