Swiss International Air Lines, marketed as SWISS, has removed domestic flights with the Airbus A340-300 from its plans through the peak summer season in 2024. The airline planned to operate 20 flights monthly between two Swiss cities.
Flights between Zurich and Geneva with an A340-300
Data from the aviation analytics company Cirium showed that as of February 9, SWISS still had scheduled between 20 and 26 flights between Zurich Airport (ZRH) and Geneva Airport (GVA) between May 2024 and October 2024.
All the flights were scheduled to be operated with the Airbus A340-300, with 26 flights between June and September. Meanwhile, in May and October 2024, the airline had scheduled 20 and 22 flights, respectively.

Moreover, the flights were scheduled on LX2806/LX2807, a return flight between the 2 cities. In January 2024, an Airbus A220-100 or an Airbus A320/A320neo operated the every day itinerary interchangeably. The trend has continued in February.
