A brand new international service for Curaçao
On December 18, 2023, Surinam Airways launched a brand new route connecting Miami and Curaçao. The schedule includes three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. w
This flight PY481 is a milk route that begins at Paramaribo International Airport (PBM) in Suriname. From there, it flies to Oranjestad (AUA) in Aruba before continuing its method to Curaçao’s Willemstad Airport after which to Miami in the USA.

A couple of days prior, Delta Air Lines resumed its service to Curaçao from Atlanta Hartfield Jackson International Airport (ATL). This service is operated onboard the airline’s Boeing 737-800, which has a capability for 160 passengers. It has one weekly flight on Saturdays, although between December 26, 2023, and January 2, 2024, Delta is incorporating an extra flight into its regular schedule. Delta’s route was resumed after 13 years. The island’s tourist board said the USA is a very important market, and this direct connection provides the chance for more tourists to return and experience the whole lot Curaçao has to supply.
