Public Safety Drone Review, August 1
This month, hosts Timothy Martin and Miriam McNabb review the most recent news stories about drones in public safety, first response, fire and police with our guests Lukáš Brchl and Hannu Lesonen. Our guests will then speak and answer questions on their ecosystem tools.
All pilots must implement appropriate Distant ID solutions this September. If you might have questions on how one can meet those requirements, now’s the time to ask! Dronetag makes the Dronetag family of Distant ID add-on devices and the Dronetag app. Lukáš Brchl is the co-founder and CEO of Dronetag, based in Prague. With Master’s degrees in each Computer Science and Knowledge Engineering, Lukáš brings his deep understanding of technology to the event of a world Distant ID solution, supporting the secure integration of economic drone operations.
Humans can absorb far more data when it’s displayed visually, multi functional field of view. Hannu Lesonen will discuss how police in Finland use Anarky Labs’ “heads up display” solution, AirHUD, to operate safely and effectively. Bringing augmented reality into the realm of public safety can provide officers the data they need, readily accessible, to de-escalate emergency situations and keep everyone safer. Hannu Lesonen is the Founder and CEO of Anarky Labs, based in Helsinki. Lesonen has a Master’s of Arts in Industrial Design, Media and Interface Design. Hannu has applied augmented reality technology to critical situational awareness and operational problems in business and public safety drone use.
