Norse Atlantic Airways has landed at Miami International Airport, launching flights from London Gatwick and Oslo yesterday. The airline will operate 4 weekly flights from London and two from Oslo.
Switching from FLL to MIA
Low-cost carrier Norse Atlantic Airways has relocated its south-Florida operations to Miami International Airport (MIA). Since launching its first Miami-area operations in June 2022, Norse operated at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). During the last yr, Norse’s network grew to incorporate flights from Berlin, London Gatwick, and Oslo. But yesterday, the carrier relocated its operations to Miami International Airport.
Each recent routes from Norse were previously unserved to Miami, now boosting the airport’s international connectivity, including service from several carriers and an in depth American Airlines network. Passengers will now have access to 4 weekly flights to London Gatwick, increasing to 5 frequencies during peak winter, and two weekly flights to Oslo.
Flight from London will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The outbound, operating as flight 723, from London, will depart at 14:00 and arrive in Miami at 18:35. The return will leave Miami at 20:55 and arrive in London the next day at 10:40. From Oslo, Norse will serve Miami twice-weekly, on Mondays and Fridays. The outbound flight will leave Oslo within the late afternoon, at 15:50, and arrive in Miami at 19:45. The return will depart at 22:05 and arrive in Oslo at 13:05 the next day.

Ralph Cutié, Director and CEO of MIA, was present at yesterday’s festivities on the airport and said,
“We’re thrilled that Norse Atlantic has chosen Miami International Airport for all of their South Florida flights, making us their seventh destination within the U.S. We proudly welcome their London Gatwick and Oslo service to Miami-Dade County – two routes that were previously unserved at MIA.”
Additional US service
As mentioned above, Norse shouldn’t be stopping its MIA services at London Gatwick and Oslo. The airline plans to launch flights from Berlin and Paris to Miami in December. The Berlin route will launch from the US on December 14 and can operate once weekly. Flights from Paris will launch on December 11 and operate 4 times weekly on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The returns will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

As Cutié said, Miami is Norse’s seventh American destination. This month, Norse has fifteen routes scheduled to the US, totaling 253 flights (one-way). The European airline also serves Recent York City (JFK), San Francisco, Boston, Washington-Dulles, Los Angeles, and Orlando. Next summer, Norse will operate 351 flights during peak summer months.
