Microdrones Reveals First NDAA-Compliant LiDAR Drone Surveying System
At Business UAV Expo in Vegas last week, Microdrones announced their latest, NDAA-compliant EasyOne LiDAR solution. The answer was also on show on the nighttime, CSI demonstration hosted by Sundance Media Group: where the Microdrones solution executed a grid mission in moments to provide a digital twin of a simulated crime scene.

Through the Business UAV Expo, Microdrones announced its upcoming EasyOneLiDAR NDAA. This drone surveying system contains a latest 128 channel LiDAR sensor and Triple 1’’ cameras with mechanical shutters, granting a combined resolution of RGB 60 MP.
“EasyOneLiDAR NDAA provides all the convenience, ease of use, small form factor and accuracy of our EasyOne system, but this version is NDAA compliant, including the LiDAR and imaging payload,” said Vivien Heriard Dubreuil, CEO of Microdrones’ parent company mdGroup.
“After we launched our EasyOne system earlier this yr, we saw some big interest from public enterprises, but they needed full NDAA-compliance,” said Microdrones VP of Sales Vincent Legrand. “That’s why we’re so pleased to announce EasyOneLiDAR NDAA. It’s the primary complete solution of its kind to hit the market with NDAA-compliance.”
The corporate also developed a brand new ground control system and LiDAR payload with the intention to achieve NDAA-compliance.
“We’re taking pre-orders now, for delivery in October; interest has been high and we anticipate strong ordering activity in Q4 for this technique,” added Legrand. “There may be some pent up demand for something like this available in the market.”
