For the primary time
To rejoice the launch of the brand new service, Lufthansa officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring a Bavarian send-off with music from a brass band.
Based on Flightradar24.com, the inaugural flight, LH764, was operated by D-AIVA, an A350-900. The aircraft departed from its gate on time at 11:55 CET and took off at 12:14 from Runway 26L at Munich Airport (MUC). Once airborne, the plane turned southeast and ascended toward its cruising altitude. half-hour after takeoff, the aircraft had leveled off at 39,000 and continued its journey toward Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bengaluru.

The return flight, LH765, departed three hours later at around 03:07 IST. The flight was initially scheduled to depart from its gate at 02:50 but was barely delayed. It took off at 03:30 and flew a really similar flight path as LH764 but in the other way. After eight hours and 56 minutes, the plane was back in Munich, arriving a couple of minutes before 08:00 CET on Saturday.

The MUC-BLR route can be offered 3 times weekly on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on the A350, in accordance with Lufthansa.
