Norwegian has released its schedule for 2024’s summer season, which incorporates the operation of 40 recent routes, including recent point-to-point routes outside of the Nordics, resembling London Gatwick-Gothenburg, which can have 4 weekly flights from May 2.
Increasing the connectivity
A complete of 40 recent routes have been added to Norwegian’s summer season program, with nine recent routes from Norway, 17 recent routes from Denmark, nine from Sweden, and two recent routes from Finland, the corporate announced in an announcement on Tuesday. In total, the summer program for the corporate will comprise of 332 routes flying to 123 destinations.

With so many routes being launched by Norwegian, the corporate is ready to have a busy summer next 12 months. Norwegian is introducing recent point-to-point routes between cities resembling Malaga-Munich, Alicante-Munich, Riga-Corfu, and Riga-Tivat.

The corporate also added Basel, Lyon, Montpellier, Priština, Zadar, and Bari, amongst other destinations, to the summer program. A brand new route between London Gatwick and Gothenburg will operate with 4 weekly flights from 2 May.
The brand new Munich-Malaga and Munich-Alicante routes will operate throughout the summer season, as will the routes from Riga to Corfu and Tivat.
Overall, the corporate can have a fleet of around 90 aircraft next summer, flying 332 routes to 123 destinations.

Services from London Gatwick
Besides the brand new London Gatwick-Gothenburg route, Norwegian is ready to operate 108 extra flights from London Gatwick (LGW) next June, in accordance with data from Cirium. Norwegian is ready to fly to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN), Copenhagen (CPH), Helsinki (HEL), Bergen (BGO), Oslo (OSL), Stavanger (SVG), and Trondheim (TRD) next summer. An important route might be to Copenhagen, with 34 flights per week.

Overall, Norwegian is planning 144 weekly flights from the Nordics to the UK, flying to Edinburg (EDI), London Gatwick, Liverpool (LPL), London Luton (LTN), and Manchester (MAN).
The fleet
Norwegian Air Sweden has a fleet of 45 aircraft, in accordance with data from ch-aviation. The corporate employs 17 Boeing 737 MAX 8s in addition to 28 Boeing 737-800s. It expects to receive two additional MAX 8s.
Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle (based in Oslo) has a fleet of 52 aircraft, including six MAX 8s and 45 Boeing 737-800s. It expects to receive 66 additional MAX 8s. Long gone were the times when Norwegian had Dreamliners on its fleet and even had a domestic branch in Argentina.
