On Friday, LATAM Airlines and Delta Air Lines are announcing 4 recent routes and the past increase of 75% of all capability between South America and the USA as a part of the increased operations of each corporations under their Joint Enterprise Agreement and powerful partnership.
Latest routes for LATAM and Delta
For the reason that implementation of the strategic agreement between LATAM and Delta, each parties have been slowly adding recent routes. The primary two recent routes were set to be launched on July 1 between São Paulo (Brazil) and Los Angeles and between Bogota (Colombia) and Orlando, however the São Paulo route has been delayed to August 1.

Today, each carriers are announcing 4 recent routes, which shall be launched in the following few months. These recent routes are Miami-Medellín, Lima-Atlanta, Atlanta-Cartagena, and Atlanta-Bogota.
Miami-Medellín
Reaching Colombia’s second-largest city, the Miami-Medellín recent route shall be launched on October 29. LATAM will operate a day by day flight (LA 4408) departing from Medellín at 12:30 and landing in Miami at 15:55. The return leg (LA 4409) will leave at 18:30 and land within the Colombian city at 21:55.
With this recent route, LATAM and Delta will compete with American Airlines and Avianca, which currently operate between each cities. American offers two day by day flights and Avianca ten weekly.
Lima-Atlanta
Delta Air Line’s unique service between Atlanta and Lima (which operates day by day under flights DL151 and DL150) shall be complemented with a brand new flight operated by LATAM Airlines.

The South American company will operate three weekly flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The departure of flight LA 2482 from Lima shall be at 12:00, landing in Atlanta at 19:10. Meanwhile, the return service from Atlanta shall be at 22:45, landing in Peru at 05:40 the following day. This route is uncontested. LATAM’s flight will start on October 29.
Atlanta-Cartagena
This recent route announced today by each carriers is completely unserved in the intervening time, in response to data from Cirium. Delta Air Lines is about to start flying to Cartagena 3 times every week starting on December 22.
Delta’s flight DL 1851 will depart from Atlanta at 09:50 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, reaching Cartagena at 13:55. The return service will depart at 15:20 and land back in the USA at 19:35.
Atlanta-Bogota
Finally, LATAM and Delta announced a brand new Atlanta-Bogota flight. The route is already served by Delta day by day under flights 981 and 980. Starting on October 29, Delta will begin operating a further day by day flight.

Service DL 589 will depart Atlanta at 09:45 and land in Bogota at 14:30. The return service will depart at 16:00 and land at 21:00.
Increasing the connectivity
These recent routes which can be being incorporated into the coordinated network will allow to explore Atlanta, Miami, Cartagena, Bogota, Lima, and Medellín and increase the opportunities to hook up with other interesting destinations in each continents, the airlines said in an announcement. Delta offers over 780 day by day flights from Atlanta to 143 destinations in the USA and Canada; from Miami, it offers over 30 day by day flights to 11 destinations in the USA.
Meanwhile, LATAM Group offers 102 weekly flights from Miami to 5 cities in South America; from Medellín, LATAM Airlines Colombia operates 33 day by day flights to 11 destinations in South America; from Lima, it offers over 108 day by day flights to 37 destinations within the region, and from Bogota it offers 84 flights to 21 destinations.
