The airline will likely be the primary within the country to operate out of the soon-to-be-inaugurated Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport (AYJ).

An inaugural flight from Delhi will land on the airport on December 30, with scheduled industrial operations ranging from Delhi and Ahmedabad on January 6 and 11, respectively. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo, commented,
IndiGo will operate a single flight between Delhi and Ayodhya on January 6 and can fly each day between the 2 cities starting January 10. It is going to even have three weekly flights from Ahmedabad from January 11, and may have the next schedule:
