Kylah showed Jack stories and reels from Avelo Airlines’ social media channels, which soon ignited his interest in aviation. Inside a few weeks, Jack was begging his mom to get him on a flight, specifically one with Avelo. On Monday, Jack and his family boarded an Avelo Airlines flight from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) to Tweed-Latest Haven Airport (HVN) en route to go to family for Thanksgiving.
Honorary Junior Crewmember
Avelo’s team decided to do something special for Jack’s return by naming him an honorary Junior Crewmember, complete with official badge. Jack performed duties along with his fellow flight attendants, even scanning in passengers during boarding on the departure gate, before visiting the pilots within the cockpit.
Avelo Airlines Chairman and CEO Andrew Levy said,
Jack also had the prospect to satisfy Savannah Banana baseball and TikTok star Jackson Olson, who joined as his official celebrity guest for the flight. After the flight touched down in Connecticut, Jack was greeted by his family and fellow Avelo crew members.
Dogs meet travelers at Eugene Airport
Traveling over the Thanksgiving period could be a stressful experience for even probably the most veteran airline passengers. With this in mind, Avelo arranged for a few of its lucky passengers to have some furry company before their journey.

As reported by Kezi, 4 comfort dogs – Huckleberry, Jiminy Cricket, Maya, and Walter – mingled with Avelo Airlines passengers at Eugene Airport (EUG) waiting for his or her flight to Los Angeles. The dogs are a part of a company called FETCH (Friends Eager To Come Help), an area dog therapy provider.
From an operational perspective, Avelo has been doing its part to maintain passenger stress levels down too. Over the primary ten months of 2023, the carrier has managed the most effective on-time performance (82.8%) and the bottom cancelation rate within the US airline industry. It also allows all passengers to vary or cancel bookings at no extra charge. With a 57% increase in capability over this Thanksgiving period in comparison with last yr, Avelo will hope to maintain its impeccable reliability record up.
