The upgraded schedule includes more frequent routes to popular destinations, recent destinations altogether, and more convenient options for a few of its most flown routes. The brand new network is positioned to support visitor growth and supply travelers with more convenient options.
Expanding frequency of popular routes
Etihad Airways began its overhauled network by adjusting departure times for several European and Asian destinations. The airline can be adjusting the timing of its flights to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (AMS) which occurs seven times per week. This is about to boost passenger convenience.
The airline also announced it might increase the frequency of routes to several large cities to supply travelers more selections and improve connectivity options. The airline is adding seven more routes per week to Chennai International Airport (MAA), bringing the variety of flights per week to 21. The airline can be adding seven more flights per week to each Velana International Airport (MLE) within the Maldives and Phuket International Airport (HKT). Etihad is now flying to MLE 14 times per week starting in 2024 and is now flying 14 times per week to HKT starting on November 21.

The airline can be adding three additional flights to several other European locations on November 21. Madrid-Brajas Airport (MAD), Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), and Munich Airport (MUC) will each be delivered to ten weekly flights. Etihad can be adding 4 more flights per week each to Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) and Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO) in Rome. Each of those locations may have 11 weekly flights.
Cairo International Airport (CAI) may have 21 flights per week starting on January 1st of next yr. This is a rise of 5 flights per week. Cochin International Airport (COK) may have a rise of eight flights per week also to bring it to 21 weekly flights. Islamabad International Airport (ISB) will receive two more weekly flights starting on January 1. It will bring the destination to 14 weekly flights.
Latest destinations
Along with increasing the frequency of popular routes, Etihad Airways also added several recent destinations. Antonoaldo Neves, the Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, spoke concerning the expansion, saying,

Two of those recent destinations are set to have flights begin on September 28. The airline can be flying 3 times per week to Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) and 4 times per week to Copenhagen Airport (CPH). The airline also prolonged its 3 times per week service to Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) in Lisbon. The path to Portugal will now be offered year-round as an alternative of just throughout the summer travel season.
