Etihad Airways is gearing up for a busy summer which can see the airline serve over 4 million passengers in the subsequent three months. This may include local passengers from Abu Dhabi and connecting travelers from Etihad’s extensive global network.

Upgraded online and self-service check-in

During peak travel times, Etihad will offer the next check-in options:
- Check-in will open 4 hours and shut one hour before scheduled departures for economy passengers. For premium passengers, check-in will close 45 minutes before departure.
- For flights to the US, check-in will close two hours before departure. Travelers may use the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility at Abu Dhabi International Airport to clear US immigration before arriving within the country.
- Use the Home Check-In service on Etihad’s website to ascertain in from 24 hours to 5 hours before departure.
