Summary
- Brisbane becomes all A380, while Nice and Washington Dulles will see the sort prior to expected.
- While the quadjet was for use 4 times day by day to China this summer, the sort has been entirely replaced by the 777-300ER.
- In all, Emirates plans to deploy the A380 to 48 destinations in July with 76 day by day departures.
Some routes will now have more Emirates Airbus A380 flights, while others will see the double-decker prior to expected. Nevertheless, the sort will not be used to China, freeing up equipment for these other developments and more.
Good changes on these routes…
The changes are summarized in the next table and are based on the carrier’s latest schedule submission to Cirium over the weekend.
Some changes were already known. For instance, on January twenty sixth, I wrote concerning the Middle East giant becoming all A380 to Brisbane. Meanwhile, Bangkok’s five day by day services are actually entirely by the A380, up from one day by day 777-300ER and 4 day by day A380.
Emirates Makes Big Changes To Perth & Brisbane Flights
Emirates will now have 10 day by day flights to Australia.
Perhaps essentially the most intriguing development is Washington Dulles. In December 2023, Emirates’ schedule indicated that the A380 would return to Dulles on October 1st, 2024, having last been used there in March 2020.
But as often happens, this has modified. The newest plan is that the day by day service will see the double-decker on March thirty first when northern airlines switch to summer schedules. Given it’s barely two months away, it is going to undoubtedly occur.

Perhaps reflecting China’s slower recovery and broader economic problems, Emirates’ latest schedule shows an enormous change to mainland China. Its entire passenger route network there’ll not see the A380. In fact, things are subject to further change.
