EGYPTAIR has announced the launch of flights from Cairo to Manchester this summer. The carrier plans to operate the brand new route five times weekly.
Expanding to Northern England
In its latest network expansion, Egyptian flag carrier EGYPTAIR, announced a brand new path to Northern England. Starting next month, July 15, Egyptair will fly nonstop from Cairo International Airport to Manchester Airport. For the primary time since 2015, the 2 cities might be directly connected, with five weekly flights.
From next month, Manchester might be the one city in the UK outside London to have flights to Egypt. Mohamed Moussa, Chairman and C.E.O of EGYPTAIR, highlighted the increasing demand for flights to Manchester. Moussa added,

Moussa also highlighted the vast network EGYPTAIR has from its Cairo hub, easily connecting Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East. Passengers from Manchester will now have access to greater than 70 EGYPTAIR destinations worldwide.

Additional expansion
Two months ago, EGYPTAIR announced it was expanding in North America to its fourth destination. Flights to Newark Liberty International Airport were launched early this month and can operate thrice weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The brand new path to Newark is along with EGYPTAIR’s already existing flight to John F. Kennedy International Airport in Recent York City, which the airline serves each day.
The route might be serviced by EGYPTAIR’s Boeing 787-9s, with a capability for 309 passengers. The Dreamliners are set in a two cabin configuration, with 30 business class seats and 279 in economy. Fifteen destinations are served by EGYPTAIR’s 787s, in Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia.
In March, EGYPTAIR announced flights to São Paulo in Brazil, making it the third route to attach Brazil to the African continent. Flights will launch on September 4.
