The Atlanta-Georgia-based airline, Delta Air Lines, recently announced it had made a strategic partnership with some of the famous athletes on this planet. Delta announced on September 6 that it could be partnering with the seven-time Super Bowl champion, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Tom Brady.
Strategic partnership
Tom Brady joins the airline to help in its commitment to Delta’s Keep Climbing philosophy. Specifically, Delta Air Lines will look to utilize Tom Brady’s expertise in teamwork, performance, and perseverance. The airline will look to incorporate Brady in strategic initiatives with Delta’s large workforce. The Chief Executive Officer of Delta Air Lines, Ed Bastian, spoke about bringing Tom Brady to Delta. He said,
“Delta’s individuals are driven by their commitment to world-class performance, excellence, and a desire to realize best-in-class results. Bringing a frontrunner like Tom onto the Delta team furthers our mission to attach the world while accelerating our drive to constantly improve for our colleagues, customers and communities.”
The partnership will goal three different areas throughout the corporate. Brady will begin by advising strategic training and teamwork tools for the airline’s 90,000 employees. He may even work closely with recent employees by assisting with onboarding, cultural familiarity, and immersion into the Delta Air Lines company.

Brady may even empower the airline’s brand identity by getting used in various marketing and customer engagement roles. Finally, Delta may even empower Brady through community engagement. Brady will support Delta’s work on impacting communities where employees live and work through different community focused events.
Brady spoke in regards to the recent partnership, saying,
“I’m grateful to be joining the Delta family, an organization I even have loved and revered for years. Growing up with a mother as a flight attendant, I even have all the time admired the folks that make seamless air transportation possible. Throughout my profession, my teammates and I flew Delta countless times, spending hours traveling for a few of an important games of our lives, even celebrating Super Bowl wins on the plane.”
