Delta Air Lines has announced an expansion of its schedules, increasing capability and flight operations on many routes for the approaching winter season. Amongst these announcements, Delta Air Lines included additional flights to destinations in Latin America & the Caribbean, akin to Aruba (AUA), Cancun (CUN), San José (SJO), and more.
Adding latest flights to Delta’s schedule
The US carrier has announced a 15% increase within the variety of seats offered throughout its leisure schedule to Latin America and the Caribbean. By doing so, Delta is giving customers departing from the airline’s hubs in Atlanta Hartfield-Jackson (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Recent York JFK, and Minneapolis (MSP). Delta will operate greater than 150 peak-day flights to 44 Latin American destinations at its peak.

The prolonged schedule will develop into available on May 20 and operate between January 8 and April 7, 2024. These are the changes announced by Delta Air Lines:
- Second each day Atlanta-Aruba flight, operating on the Boeing 757s
- Seventh each day Atlanta-Cancun flight, operating on the Boeing 737-900ERs
- Second each day Atlanta-Grand Cayman trip, operating on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays on Boeing 737-800s.
- Second each day Atlanta-Liberia trip, operating on 757s
- Fourth each day Atlanta-Montego Bay trip, operating on 737-800s
- Fourth each day Atlanta-Nassau trip, operating on 737-800s
- Second each day Atlanta-Puerto Vallarta trip, operating on 737-800s
- Second each day Atlanta-San José, operating on 757s
- Fifth each day Atlanta-San Juan, operating on 757s
- Fourth each day Detroit-Cancun, operating each day on 737-900ERs
- Second each day JFK-Nassau, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays on 737-900ERs
- Second each day JFK-Punta Cana operating on 737-900ERs
- Fifth each day Minneapolis-Cancun operating on 737-900ERs
- Second each day Minneapolis-Puerto Vallarta operating on 737-900ERs
- Second each day Minneapolis-San José del Cabo operating on 737-800s.
By doing this, the airline said in a press release.
Recent seasonal routes
Moreover, Delta Air Lines is launching several latest seasonal routes to popular winter destinations from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP).
Starting on December 16, and going to March 31, Delta will operate flights from Los Anglees to Vail operating each day on a two-class regional jet. On that very same day, and running to January 7 each day, Delta will operate services to Jackson Hole (JAC). Then from January 8 to March 31, it should run only on Saturdays.
Finally, from Minneapolis, Delta will service Jackson Hole on Saturdays only from December 16 to April 7 on an Airbus A319.

This week, Delta Air Lines was within the news after rolling out a brand new platform for content. Delta Sync Exclusives will offer streaming services to all passengers no matter seating class, including Paramount+ on select domestic flights, sports, news, access to Recent York Times games, and more.
The airline was also linked in reports saying it’s considering a brand new Airbus widebody order, which could possibly include Airbus A350s and Airbus A330neos.
