Lufthansa Cargo reported a 15.6% adjusted EBIT margin in Q3 2026, compared with 6.0% a year earlier.
Why it matters
Cargo tonne kilometres measure the weight of freight carried over distance, while available cargo tonne kilometres measure the capacity offered. The increase in both measures, alongside a higher load factor, shows that Lufthansa Cargo carried more freight while using a greater share of its offered capacity.
