Cirium's schedule file puts four Delta Airbus A350-900 deployments on the board from December 2026 through May 2027. Atlanta–Tel Aviv returns December 1, 2026, three times weekly, a resumption of a sector Delta had already flown with the type. Atlanta–Riyadh, a new nonstop, is dated March 1, 2027, three times weekly. Los Angeles–Manila, also a new nonstop, is dated March 28, 2027, three times weekly. Atlanta–Athens moves to the A350-900 on May 1, 2027, three times weekly, in place of the A330-900.

Delta had aimed to open Riyadh in October and postponed the start, citing regional security developments. In an October 12 statement the airline said Saudi Arabia remains an important market and that it is committed to serving the Kingdom for the long-term.

Key details

  • Los Angeles–Manila is listed as daily from June 7, 2027, after the three-times-weekly opening bank.
  • Delta operates 42 Airbus A350-900s, with 17 on firm order, and has ordered 20 A350-1000s with deliveries from 2027.
  • The A350-900 is being standardized on 275 seats: 40 Delta One Suites, 40 Premium Select, 36 Comfort, and 159 Main Cabin.

Saudi Arabia remains an important market for Delta, and we are committed to serving the Kingdom for the long-term. We look forward to connecting Saudi Arabia to Delta's global network in March 2027.

Why it matters

Cirium counts 54 weekly A350 departures from Atlanta and 50 from Los Angeles in June 2027, together about 60 percent of 175 weekly flights from six US hubs. The Manila nonstop would be the only US-airline link on that city pair; Philippine Airlines already flies it.
