Archer Aviation, an American manufacturer of eVTOLs, and Air Chateau International, a sophisticated air mobility services provider based within the UAE, recently announced a Memorandum of Understanding signed on the Dubai Air Show covering a planned purchase of over $100 million price of Midnight eVTOLs with an initial deposit due by the top of the 12 months. While the businesses still plan on figuring out further details, this deal establishes Air Chateau as a brand new partner in Archer’s previously announced efforts to bring AAM air taxi services to Dubai and Abu Dhabi by 2026.

This announcement follows recent moves by Archer within the advanced air mobility space, including the planned 2026 opening of an engineering Center of Excellence to support the growing advanced air mobility industry within the UAE with plans to collaborate with local manufacturers to provide eVTOLs. Other recently announced products include recent air taxi services in India by 2026 and a Special Airworthiness Certificate for the Midnight from the FAA.
