American Airlines is introducing three recent routes between the US and Mexico’s Tulum International Airport (TQO), offering its passengers more destinations and travel options for summer 2024. Individually, the carrier has also applied to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) to launch a non-stop service between Recent York John F Kennedy (JFK) and Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND).
Three routes to Tulum
American Airlines passengers can prepare to explore ancient ruins, lush jungles, and white-sand beaches with the carrier’s recent Tulum service. From March 28, 2024, the airline will operate 4 day by day non-stop Boeing 737 flights from three US airports, offering enhanced connectivity to the Riviera Maya.
Flights might be operated all year long, constructing on the carrier’s record winter Cancun (CUN) service. It operates nearly 40 peak-day flights to 18 US destinations from nearby CUN. The carrier will fly to Tulum from Charlotte (CLT) with one day by day flight, Dallas-Fort Price (DFW) with two day by day flights, and Miami (MIA) with a day by day flight. American’s Senior Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning Brian Znotins said,
“American continues to boost our comprehensive global network with more nonstops to destinations our customers need to visit. With more flights to Tulum from the US than another airline, American will offer convenient nationwide connectivity to this popular vacation gem on the Riviera Maya.”

Tickets might be available for booking from November 13. American could have more flights to Tulum than another US carrier. Moreover, it’s going to increase frequencies on numerous Mexican, Caribbean, and Latin American routes, offering over 600,000 weekly flights next summer. Starting June 5, American Airlines will offer more flights to and from the next destinations.

- Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (POP): 2x day by day.
Connecting Recent York to Tokyo
American can also be trying to expand its intercontinental network, with a brand new route linking Japan to the US. It submitted an application to the DOT to launch a year-round service with one day by day frequency. Flights might be operated with the Boeing 777, and if approved, it’s going to be the one US carrier connecting Recent York to Tokyo directly.
