Airlines are not any strangers to sports sponsorships. Unlike Europe and other parts of the world, where several teams don airline logos on their jerseys, airlines typically retain naming rights to stadiums in the US. American Airlines used to have its name on two arenas, one where the Miami Heat played, and the opposite where the Dallas Mavericks play. The Mavericks still play on the American Airlines Center in Dallas, near American Airlines’ headquarters in Fort Value.
Earlier today, the Fort-Value-based carrier announced a multi-year sponsorship take care of the Texas Rangers, becoming the Official and Exclusive Airline and Airline Rewards Program of the Texas Rangers. In line with the airline, AAdvantage members could have access to exclusive perks like throwing out the primary pitch, player meet and greets, and more. American can even offer unique opportunities to travel to the games.

Though that is the primary time American has grow to be the official and exclusive airline for the Rangers, it just isn’t the primary time the airline has partnered with the Rangers organization. In previous years, the 2 worked together locally with Make-A-Wish, Medal of Honor Museum, Stand As much as Cancer, Seats for Heroes, Faces of Freedom, and other organizations.
As mentioned earlier, the brand new partnership will include a lounge on the stadium. The lounge might be an airline-branded First Base Lounge at field level.
