Boeing Business Jets has chosen a partnership between Aloft AeroArchitects and Greenpoint Technologies because the exclusive completions provider for the newly announced BBJ Select cabin interiors.
Unveiled Monday on the Las Vegas Convention Center, BBJ Select introduces what Boeing Business Jets calls a brand new standard of interior completions for the BBJ 737-7. The offering gives customers the power to simplify and expedite the design and installation of their cabin interiors while still providing flexibility and customization. The catalog of options includes 144 possible interior layouts with various materials available in three color palettes. The six-zone cabin allows for a wide range of interchangeable spaces including a personal office, family room, passenger seating, and a VIP main bedroom.
“Boeing Business Jets is offering customers a brand new, streamlined approach to designing a singular, comfortable, and functional interior for our BBJ 737-7 jet,” said Boeing Business Jets president Joe Benson. “For purchasers who may not have the time or desire to create a completely bespoke interior, BBJ Select offers pre-designed options to outfit their cabins, which allows us to supply the jet at a really attractive, fixed price.”
Under their partnership deal, Greenpoint will deliver cabin kits developed by its Interior Design Center to Aloft, which is able to install, certify, and deliver the finished interiors. The businesses will share responsibility for client acceptance and post-delivery care.
“Collaboration is in our DNA at Aloft,” said company vice chairman of sales and repair Matt Hill. “We’ve been a proud partner to Boeing on the auxiliary fuel system since inception of this system in addition to being one in all the highest providers of VIP interior completions on BBJ 737 aircraft.”
