Creating one of the best travel experience
Shane Jones, the vice chairman of real estate and business development at Alaska Airlines, noted the airline’s commitment to providing one of the best travel experience and understands the frustration or delays that may occur before boarding the aircraft. In light of the partnership with CLEAR, Jones stated:
“We understand from our guests how necessary it’s for them to have one of the best possible experience when traveling with us, and a part of that’s saving time on the airport. Our frequent flyers are already big fans of CLEAR Plus. With a reduced CLEAR Plus membership available to all our Mileage Plan members, we imagine more guests will appreciate this worthwhile travel profit.”

This system initially being launched from Alaska’s busiest hubs, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The chief vice chairman of operations at CLEAR, Kasra Moshkani, weighed in on Alaska’s latest news:
“CLEAR is obsessive about delivering one of the best customer experience, so we’re excited to supply Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan members with the boldness and predictability of CLEAR Plus; we sit up for expanding our partnership with Alaska to proceed unlocking seamless experiences for his or her frequent flyers from home to gate and beyond.”
Seamless transition
CLEAR is an organization that gives seamless transitions through airport security at select US airports. It does this by making a biometric profile for its members. This enables passengers to access accelerated security lines as they only must scan their thumbprint for the system to confirm their identity.

On the airports it services, CLEAR has stationary kiosks where passengers may register, allowing them to forego the long waits at security as CLEAR members may utilize specific CLEAR member lanes.
Alaska won’t be the one US airline with the offering, having United Airlines signed up for this system last November, which travelers are enabled via the United App to make registering easy, especially for passengers in a rush. CLEAR also has an elite service often known as CLEAR Plus. Alaska passengers trying to reap the benefits of the CLEAR Plus advantages will still must visit an in-airport kiosk, although the corporate reassures that the sign-up process only takes just a few minutes.
