The terms and conditions warn that applicants could also be required to offer valid Government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license) to verify eligibility under the offer.
Which programs are eligible?
Since its debut in 2005, the Flying Blue loyalty program has amassed 20 million members worldwide. Members of Skyteam Alliance airline programs will generally have reciprocal advantages across member airlines, so the offer is primarily targeted at frequent fliers of various or non-alliance airlines.
For oneworld alliance loyalists, this system matches British Airways Executive Club Bronze members to Flying Club Silver, while American Airlines AAdvantage members could be matched from Gold status and above. Qatar Airways Privilege Club, which also uses Avios, makes the list, as does Iberia’s Plus program and Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich. Royal Air Maroc has a separate status match partnership with the corporate.
Star Alliance members are also well-represented on the list of airlines eligible for the offer. Air Canada’s Aeroplan, Lufthansa’s Miles & More, SAS Scandinavian Airlines’ EuroBonus, TAP Air Portugal’s Miles&Go, Turkish Airlines’ Miles&Smiles, and United Airlines’ MileagePlus programs all make the list.

Do Frequent Flyer Points Have Any Money Value & How Do They Differ Between Programs?
Points and miles don’t normally have real money value, but a price between $0.01 and $0.02 per point/mile is common.
Two frequent flyer programs for non-alliance airlines are included. Emirates Skywards and Air Lingus AerClub members can even transfer their existing status to Flying Blue. The equivalent status levels vary based on the airline and are outlined within the table below:

For anyone searching for a free status match right into a Skyteam program, Delta Air Lines offers a program here, as does Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club.
The UK is a large marketplace for KLM operations from its Amsterdam hub. Easy Flying previously explored the carrier’s vast network of UK regional airports. Within the absence of flights from the British Flag carrier, KLM offers a lot of these airports the one one-stop connection to long-haul destinations.
