Air Canada has brought back its flight to Edinburgh from Toronto. The airline plans to run the service until January next 12 months but will adjust the frequency based on seasonal demand. Air Canada has introduced or announced a number of international flights recently, as demand for travel has increased, particularly in the height summer months.
Edinburgh service resumes
Air Canada has began flying to Edinburgh again from Toronto, with plans to extend the nonstop service to every day in the course of the summer peak. The airline will proceed to supply this flight well into the winter months but with reduced frequency.
The present plan is that the carrier will proceed this flight 3 times weekly into the winter season until January eighth next 12 months and return in early spring 2024. Stephen Gerrard, Air Canada General Manager Sales, UK and Ireland, commented,

This flight adds to Air Canada’s significant presence within the UK and Ireland. In reality, the airline offers more every day flights from the UK to Canada than every other airline.
The carrier has nonstop year-round services from London Heathrow to Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary, and Halifax and between Dublin and Toronto, in addition to nonstop summer seasonal services between Manchester and Toronto, and from Dublin to Vancouver and Montreal.
More international services
The previous couple of days have seen Air Canada launch a number of flights to Europe and announce one to the Caribbean. Just a few days ago, the Canadian flag carrier inaugurated its nonstop service to Toulouse, marking the airline’s fourth destination in France in addition to the one year-round service between North America and southwestern France.

It also launched seasonal services from Montréal to Copenhagen, which complements its existing year-round flights to the Danish capital from Toronto Pearson. Air Canada also joined KLM and Air Transat by launching the seasonal transatlantic connection between Montreal and Amsterdam Schiphol a number of days ago.
The carrier can also be set to resume its Grenada service later this fall with double the previous frequency, using its Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Clearly, the airline has some busy months ahead.
