Axis Jet says it consolidated charter operations previously conducted under Eldorado Air and Modesto Executive Air Charter under one FAA Part 135 certificate. The company now conducts those operations as Modesto Executive Air Charter, Inc , doing business as Axis Jet.
Key details
- Axis Jet says it received FAA approval for a Pilot Development Program aimed at pilots earlier in their careers.
- The company says the consolidation brought staff, aircraft, and other resources together while retaining the same team.
- Axis Jet operates turboprop and jet aircraft and offers charter services across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
- Axis Jet also offers aircraft management and sales and identifies itself as a WYVERN-approved operator.
Co-founder Matt Bosco said Axis Jet’s Pilot Development Program aims to create career opportunities for pilots.
Why it matters
A single Part 135 certificate brings the two charter operations under one operating structure. Axis Jet says its development program will offer structured experience and a progression path for pilots as they build their careers.
