AFKLMP Cargo reported third-quarter revenue of €677 million, an increase of 25.2% from a year earlier. Freight volume reached 236,000 tonnes, up 5%.
Key details
- Revenue tonne-kilometers reached 1.8 billion, up 8% year on year.
- Available tonne-kilometers totaled 3.9 billion, an increase of 2.3%.
- Air France-KLM Group reported third-quarter revenue of €9.9 billion, up 7.6%, and net income of €938 million, up 22.1%.
AFKLMP Cargo reported a 46% third-quarter load factor, up 2.4 percentage points year on year.
Why it matters
The reported increase in traffic outpaced the growth in available cargo capacity, while the load factor also rose. Air France-KLM said maritime route disruption and airfreight needs tied to AI supply chains supported demand, offsetting weaker Asia-to-Europe e-commerce shipments after a small-parcel import charge took effect in July.
