The Brazilian carrier Azul Linhas Aéreas is ready to launch its recent route between Belo Horizonte/Confins Tancredo Neves International Airport (CNF) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) in the USA. This operation will debut on Sunday, September 24, onboard the airline’s Airbus A330 fleet.
Launching a brand new service
Starting this Sunday, Azul Linhas Aereas will offer two weekly flights to Orlando from Belo Horizonte (the capital city of Minas Gerais). Flights shall be operated on Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing from CNF at 9:30 with an expected arrival in Florida at 17:30. Flights back to Brazill will happen on the identical days, departing from Orlando International at 21:00 and landing in Belo Horizonte at 6:00 the next day.
Along with the brand new path to Orlando, Azul began three weekly services to Fort Lauderdale International (FLL) in June on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing from CNF at 12:30 and arriving within the US city at 20:00.

Azul currently offers 601 weekly flights from Belo Horizonte, mainly to domestic destinations, even though it also serves Curaçao with one weekly flight.

Azul flies from Belem (BEL), Belo Horizonte, Manaos (MAO), Recife (REC), and Sao Paulo Viracopos (VCP) to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, the airline’s two destinations in the USA. Nonetheless, it offers more connectivity across the USA and the Caribbean through its partnership with JetBlue.
The aircraft
Azul will employ its Airbus A330-900 fleet to operate the flights from Belo Horizonte to Orlando. The corporate has five A330-900 currently on its fleet, with three more coming in the long run.
Azul’s A330neo has a capability to hold 298 passengers in a two-class configuration, having 34 seats in business and 264 in economy class. The business seats are in a 1-2-1 configuration, with all of them having direct access to the aisle, while the economy seats are in a 2-4-2 configuration.
The Brazilian airline also has two Airbus A350-900s which have been previously used on routes to the USA. Nonetheless, these planes are currently deployed on the airline’s service between Sao Paulo Viracopos and Paris Orly (ORY), with six weekly flights.
